    RE: Banks and Your Money

Wells Fargo should just state the facts instead of testifying contrary to their own press release. This is a miniscule example why consumers are trusting their community banks more each passing day.

If you haven't already, look at CheckingFinder.com to identify community banks/credit unions paying up to 6%.

Here are their top rates as of April 20. These are NOT teaser rates.

Rates with a * signifies this bank rate is available nationwide.

First Robinson Savings Bank - Robinson, IL 6.01
Southern Missouri Bank & Trust 6.01
LA DOTD Federal Credit Union - Denham Spring, LA 5.25
Keystone Bank - Auburn, AL 5.15
