    Eric Schurenberg

    Eric Schurenberg is Editor-in-Chief of BNET.com and Editorial Director of CBS MoneyWatch.com. Previously, Eric was managing editor of MONEY. As managing editor, he expanded the editorial focus to new interests including real estate, family finance, health, retirement, and the workplace. Prior to MONEY, Eric was deputy editor of Business 2.0. He was also the managing editor of goldman.com, a Web site for Goldman Sachs Group's personal wealth management business, and an assistant managing editor at Fortune magazine. Schurenberg has won a Gerald Loeb Award for distinguished business journalism, a National Magazine Award, and a Page One Award.

    Jill Schlesinger

    Jill Schlesinger, CFP®, recently retired from Strategic Point Investment Advisors of Providence, RI, where she served for 14 years as Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer and Director of Marketing. Jill helped grow the firm from a small start up into one of the largest independent investment advisors in Rhode Island.

    She is a graduate of the Certified Financial Planner Program at the College of Financial Planning and is a Certified Financial Planner™ certificant. A 1987 graduate of Brown University, Jill started her career as an options trader on the Commodities Exchange of New York, where she was one of eight female members on an exchange of 800.

    Jill’s media career started in New England, where she co-hosted a weekly financial radio talk show, Making Money, for twelve years and served as the financial contributor on the local NBC television affiliate WJAR/NBC10 since 2002.

    Her national appearances began in 2004 on Fox News Channel. Jill served as a regular contributor on Fox Business News in 2008 and has been a guest on CNN’s “American Morning.” In 2008, Jill began to appear on CBS’ “The CBS Early Show” and “The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric,” providing commentary and clarity amid the chaos that was unraveling in the markets.

    Joel Brown

    Joel Brown has been a correspondent for CBS Newspath, the affiliate news service of CBS News, since November 2007. Previously, Brown was a reporter for WSVN-TV Miami (2004-07), and anchor and reporter for KETK-TV Tyler, Texas (2001-04). Brown was a researcher and assistant for ABC News’ “20/20” and “Primetime” news magazines (January-May 2001). He also worked on the 2001 Presidential inauguration while at ABC, among other events. He was born in Abington, Pa., outside Philadelphia. Brown was graduated from Howard University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and education. While at Howard, he was an anchor and reporter for WHUT, the university’s television station. Brown also received the 2000 Ed Bradley Award for Excellence in Student Journalism given by the Radio-Television News Directors Association.

    Karen Brown

    Karen Brown has been a correspondent for CBS Newspath, the affiliate news service of CBS News, since December 2006. She is based in New York. Most recently, Brown was a freelance correspondent for CBS Newspath, in Los Angeles (2005-06), where she covered major news events, breaking news and entertainment news. She received an Emmy Award in 1995 for her work with KNBC-TV on the Simpson trial. Brown grew up in Orange County Calif. She graduated from the University of California-Los Angeles in 1991 with a bachelor of arts degree in English.

    Alexis Christoforous

    Alexis Christoforous has been the New York-based MonyWatch correspondent and anchor for CBS Newspath, the 24-hour affiliate news service of CBS News, since March 2005. Christoforous is a contributing correspondent for the CBS Evening News weekend editions and the CBS Radio Network. She began her business news career at Bloomberg Television and Radio in 1994, where she anchored the national PBS program “Bloomberg Morning News” and was Bloomberg’s first reporter to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Christoforous covered the stock market bull run of the early 1990s and the subsequent Internet bubble burst of 2000. She reported on the economic impact of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, the resignation of New York Stock Exchange CEO Richard Grasso and the wave of Wall Street scandals, including Enron, Worldcom and Martha Stewart. Christoforous graduated cum laude from New York University with a degree in English and Journalism. She lives in New York City with her husband and two sons.

    Sumi Das

    Covering everything from technology and politics to hurricanes, high-profile trials and Hollywood awards, Sumi Das has filed feature stories, hosted programs, and reported breaking news live for CNN, TechTV, MSNBC, and the Fine Living Network. Das has more than 10 years of broadcasting experience. She graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Psychology and English literature.

    Susan Roberts

    Susan Roberts has been a Washington-based correspondent for CBS Newspath, the affiliate news service of CBS News, since July 2004. Her reporting on the Sept. 11 attacks contributed to a regional Edward R. Murrow Award for WJLA-TV. Roberts has also received two Emmy nominations for spot news and feature news reporting. Roberts was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She graduated from Centenary College in Shreveport, La. with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Spanish. She completed part of her undergraduate studies at St. John’s College in Oxford, England.
